TULKARM, April 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestine TV crew on Monday while they were covering the aggression against the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarm.
TV correspondent Bayan Diab told WAFA that occupation forces stopped the TV vehicle they were traveling in, searched it and the crew, including cameraman Abdullah al-Sayed and driver Thaer Daroubi, checked their IDs, and interrogated them before forcing them to leave the area under the pretext that the town was a closed military zone.
The occupation forces have continued their aggression since dawn today against the town of Anabta, deploying large military reinforcements of vehicles and armored personnel carriers and deploying infantry units in its streets.
Meanwhile, they detained dozens of residents after raiding their homes and vandalizing their contents, taking them to an interrogation center inside a house that they seized and converted into a military barracks.
