JERUSALEM, April 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces bulldozed Palestinian-owned land in the al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, on Monday.

The Jerusalem Governorate stated that bulldozers belonging to the Israeli municipality of Jerusalem razed Palestinian-owned land in the al-Bustan neighborhood and removed rubble from homes demolished weeks earlier in the same area.

The Israeli occupation authorities force Palestinians in occupied East Jerusalem to demolish their own homes under the pretext of lacking building permits. Those who refuse have their homes demolished by Israeli bulldozers, and are subjected to hefty fines in addition to the costs of the forced demolition.
