WASHINGTON, April 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Several cities in the United States witnessed marches and solidarity events in support of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.

Participants raised banners demanding the release of the prisoners and an end to the violations committed against them, expressing their solidarity and emphasizing that the prisoners' cause is a fundamental part of the ongoing Palestinian struggle.

These demonstrations coincided with the commemoration of Palestinian Prisoners' Day, during which participants called for broader action to pressure for an end to the prisoners' suffering and for continued popular events within the United States to keep the issue at the forefront of public attention.
