JERUSALEM, April 19, 2026 (WAFA) – The Jerusalem Governorate warned against calls issued by so-called “Temple Mount” groups, including the “In Our Hands” organization, to mobilize the largest possible number of settlers and carry out mass incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound next Wednesday.

The Governorate indicated that these calls aim to intensify the raising of the Israeli flag within the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, a provocative step that violates the sanctity of the site.

The Jerusalem Governorate also warned of the serious repercussions of these actions, holding the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for any escalation that may occur.
