Colonists damage stone terraces and graze livestock in villages east of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, April 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Sunday damaged stone terraces and grazed livestock in the villages of Al-Maniya and Al-Rashaida, east of Bethlehem, according to Palestinian security sources.

The sources reported that several colonists stormed Al-Maniya and demolished stone retaining walls in the Al-Jamla area, while also grazing their sheep on residents’ land and damaging some trees.

Other colonists grazed livestock in the lands of the nearby village of Kisan, amid provocations against local residents, the sources added.

In recent weeks, colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, have intensified attacks in the southeastern areas of Bethlehem governorate, including assaults on residents, targeting property, and uprooting trees.
