BETHLEHEM, April 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists uprooted olive saplings and attacked residents’ homes on Sunday in the town of Beit Sahour, east of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources.
The sources reported that a group of colonists removed recently planted olive saplings in the Ush Ghrab area and carried out attacks on homes in the Jabal Al-Harasa area to the east of the town.
In a related incident, other colonists seized an area of land in the village of Al-Rashaida, east of Bethlehem, and proceeded to extend a water network to the location.
The sources noted that colonists had escalated their attacks a day earlier across several areas in Bethlehem governorate, including incursions into Khalayel Al-Louz and Abu Njeim neighborhoods, accompanied by provocations against residents.
