JERUSALEM, April 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished on Wednesday a Palestinian house in Silwan and several structures in Issawiya, in occupied East Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli troops demolished a house in the Al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. In a separate incident, bulldozers razed several shacks in the Rawabi area of Al-Issawiya.
Authorities also issued fines against residents’ vehicles in Al-Issawiya.
Israeli police reportedly assaulted the Qwaider family after raiding their home in the Al-Bustan neighborhood, as well as Fakhri Abu Diab, a member of the neighborhood's land defense committee, and several foreign journalists.
