HEBRON, April 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians and a foreign solidarity activist were injured on Tuesday in a colonists' attack on Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
Activist Osama Makhameh told WAFA that colonists from the Ma'on settlement, built on Palestinian land south of Hebron, assaulted the family of Ahmad Barghash al-Shawahin while they were grazing their sheep in the Wadi al-Jawaya area, and also attacked two foreign solidarity activists. The attack resulted in injuries to brothers Hamza and Saddam al-Shawahin and a foreign activist.
He added that paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society provided first aid to the injured and transported them to Yatta Governmental Hospital.
He continued that the colonists also broke and stole the mobile phones of Hamza al-Shawahin, the injured foreign activist, and another activist.
