NABLUS, April 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained eight Palestinians, including two brothers, in the Nablus governorate early Tuesday morning.
Security sources told WAFA that the occupation forces raided the city and detained five Palestinians, including siblings Adham and Hadi Mohsen Ja’ara, Omar Abdullah Tanbour, and Muhammad Mazhar.
They also detained Obada Subhi Abu al-Hayat, who was forced to turn himself in after his father and brother were detained to pressure him to surrender. His father and brother were later released.
In a related incident, occupation forces raided the town of Beita, south of Nablus, and detained Ziad Ahmad Daoud. They also raided the village of Tell, west of the city, and detained Osama al-Saifi. Additionally, they raided the village of Sarra and arrested Mujahid Ziad Ghanem after ransacking homes.
Meanwhile,the occupation forces detained two young men from Tulkarm early Tuesday morning after raiding and searching their homes.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces detained Amr Mazen al-Hajj from Tulkarm city and Muhammad Hashem Ghawi from the town of Attil, north of Tulkarm, after assaulting Ghawi and confiscating some of his belongings.
