GAZA, April 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced today that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 72,302 and 172,090 others were wounded since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023.

The sources reported that Gaza Strip hospitals received seven slain people and 17 others who were wounded in the past 24 hours.

They indicated that the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 723, and the total number of wounded to 1,990, while 759 bodies have been recovered.

The same sources explained that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them so far.
