JERUSALEM, April 5, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian teenager, aged 17, was injured by Israeli forces’ live fire on Sunday evening during an Israeli military raid on Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews dealt with the injury of a 17-year-old boy who was shot in the thigh with live ammunition during the raid and transferred him to a hospital.
The Israeli occupation raid on Qalandia Camp has been ongoing for several hours, during which a 39-year-old man was beaten by soldiers, pepper sprayed, and taken to the hospital.
During the raid, Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters, blocked the camp’s entrance, and completely obstructed vehicle movement, causing severe traffic congestion.
The Qalandia refugee camp frequently witnesses Israeli raids, which include attacks on residents and imposition of strict measures, further exacerbating their daily hardships.
