GAZA, April 5, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was killed and others were wounded Sunday evening in an Israeli airstrike east of Gaza City.
WAFA correspondent reported that an Israeli drone targeted a group of Palestinians in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of one Palestinian and injuries to several others.
Medical sources said today that the death toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,292, with 172,073 wounded, since October 7, 2023. They noted that the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 716, and the total number of injuries to 1,968, while 759 bodies have been recovered.
