RAMALLAH, March 30, 2026 (WAFA) – The Civil Affairs Authority and the Ministry of Health reported that Abdel Rahman Hamza Abdel Rahman Abu Al-Rub, 31, from the town of Jalbun in Jenin governorate, was killed on Monday morning by Israeli forces’ gunfire at the Anab checkpoint east of Tulkarm.
Israeli forces opened fire at a vehicle passing through the Anab military checkpoint, east of Tulkarm, on Monday morning. Local sources reported that one person was injured at the scene. The Palestine Red Crescent Society added that its teams were prevented by Israeli forces from reaching the injured after receiving a report of gunfire near the checkpoint.
The Israeli forces also closed the gate at the checkpoint, forcing vehicles to turn back in both directions.
