SALFIT, March 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli bulldozers began Monday morning leveling large swaths of agricultural land and uprooting olive trees in the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit.
Local sources told WAFA that the bulldozing operations were concentrated in the Al-Masrara area, west of the town, targeting land planted with olive trees owned by local residents.
In a related incident, Israeli occupation forces detained two young men, Iyad Haroun Yassin and Abdul Jawad Muhammad Bani Nimra, during a military raid on the city of Salfit, after storming and ransacking their homes.
