BETHLEHEM, March 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists set up a tent on Monday in the village of Abu Njeim, southeast of Bethlehem.
Security sources reported that a group of Israeli colonists erected the tent on Palestinian-owned land in Abu Njeim for settlement purposes.
Hassan Breijieh, a researcher specializing in the wall and settlements, said that this signifies the implementation of the Israeli military decision to construct a settler bypass road linking the settlements of Tekoa and Efrat, effectively isolating Bethlehem from its southern countryside.
