TULKARM, March 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces opened live fire on Monday on a vehicle passing through the Anab military checkpoint east of Tulkarm.
Local sources said that the shooting resulted in at least one injury, while the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews were prevented from reaching the wounded individual after receiving a report of gunfire targeting a vehicle near the checkpoint.
Israeli forces reportedly closed checkpoint gate and forced vehicles to turn back from both directions.
The identity and condition of wounded individual remain unknown as of the time of reporting, amid the ongoing closure of the area.
