BEIRUT, March 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Seven people were killed and several others wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Haniyeh in southern Lebanon, while two others were killed and three wounded in an airstrike on the town of Jouaya, according to the National News Agency (NNA) on Sunday.
Israeli airstrikes have continued to target various areas of Lebanon since the early hours of the morning.
The NNA reported that an airstrike targeted the town of Jamaliyeh, north of Baalbek, shortly before 2:00 AM. Warplanes also launched additional airstrikes on a house in the town of Dabaal, and on the outskirts of Batouliyeh and Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain, coinciding with artillery shelling of the towns of Bayada and Bint Jbeil.
