Two Lebanese paramedics killed in Israeli airstrike in Bint Jbeil, Lebanon

BEIRUT, March 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Lebanese paramedics were killed and several others injured on Sunday morning after Israeli warplanes struck the area surrounding Bint Jbeil Hospital in the southern city of Bint Jbeil, southern Lebanon.

The National News Agency reported that shortly after midnight, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on a home in the southern town of Abba, completely destroying it.

In a related incident, Israeli fighter jets also targeted the town of Khiyam in southern Lebanon. 

Another paramedic was killed yesterday while attempting to assist journalists Ali Shuaib, Fatima Ftouni, and her brother, photographer Abbas Ftouni, who were killed in an Israeli airstrike on their vehicle near the town of Jezzine.
