Palestinian youth shot by Israeli forces near segregation wall north of Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, March 28, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was shot by Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the 21-year-old, from the town of Yatta south of Hebron, was shot while near the Israeli segregation wall built on land belonging to Al-Ram.

In the same context, Israeli forces stormed Al-Ram and searched several homes. They also raided the town of Abu Dis and the Bedouin community of Bir Maskoub east of Jerusalem, where they conducted on-site interrogations and checked vehicle licenses. No detentions were reported.

Israeli forces also raided the town of Anata northeast of Jerusalem and searched a home belonging to the Abu Haniya family. Additional raids were carried out in Al-Eizariya and Hizma east of the governorate, with no detentions reported.
