BERUIT, March 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli army issued an urgent evacuation warning for seven areas in southern Lebanon, ahead of anticipated airstrikes.
According to Lebanese media, the warning included the areas of Maashouq, Burj al-Shamali, Rashidieh, Deir Kifa, Qaqaiyat al-Jisr, Wadi Jilo, and al-Bass, in preparation for airstrikes, as part of a widespread campaign of warnings affecting dozens of villages and towns.
The warning coincided with a ground incursion by Israeli forces into border towns, including Dhahira, Maroun al-Ras, and Khiam.
