GAZA, March 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Although a ceasefire in Gaza went into effect on October 11, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has continued to rise, reaching 72,268, mostly women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 171,995 others have also been injured.
This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
Medical sources said that the body of one slain Palestinian and 19 injuries arrived at hospitals across the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
Since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11, the number of those killed and injured has reached 692and 1,895, respectively. At least 756 bodies have also been recovered from under the rubble.
