TUBAS, March 27, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists on Friday evening attacked Palestinian citizens in the Safah Tayasir area, northeast of Tubas, according to local sources.

Sources reported that a group of colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, attacked residents in Safah Tayasir and opened fire on them.

The attack follows a violent attack carried out by colonists at dawn on Thursday, during which four Palestinian citizens were injured after being severely beaten. Colonists also set up a caravan as a nucleus for a new colonial outpost near Palestinian residents’ homes in the area.

Safah Tayasir area is home to several Palestinian families who rely on livestock farming. Recently, additional families sought refuge there after being forcibly displaced from the al-Burj community in the northern Jordan Valley, amid ongoing harassment by colonists.
