JERUSALEM, March 27, 2026 (WAFA) – A second Palestinian was killed on Friday in Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, after being shot by Israeli forces.

Sufyan Ahmed Saleh Abu Leil, 46, succumbed to serious head injuries sustained during the raid, raising the death toll in the camp since morning to two. 

The incursion followed the funeral of martyr Mustafa Hamad, who was shot dead by Israeli soldiers earlier the day at the entrance to the camp.

During the second incursion, Israeli forces fired intensively toward civilians leaving the cemetery, wounding Abu Leil and another youth. Later, soldiers raided Hamad's home while snipers took positions on rooftops facing the camp entrance.
