JERUSALEM, March 27, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was seriously injured by Israeli army gunfire on Friday during a raid on Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli forces stormed the camp following the funeral of martyr Mustafa Hamad, who was shot dead earlier that morning at the camp's entrance. Soldiers fired intensively toward youths leaving the cemetery, resulting in one youth being critically wounded in the head.

The Governorate added that Israeli forces also raided Hamad's home, while snipers took positions on rooftops of buildings facing the camp's entrance.
