HEBRON, March 27, 2026 (WAFA) – An 80-year-old Palestinian woman and two of her sons were injured on Friday after armed Israeli colonists attacked their home and stole livestock in the Wadi al-A'war area in the village of Birin, east of Hebron.

Farid Burkan, head of the village council of Birin, said that a group of armed colonists attacked the home of Noor Azmi Idris, breaking doors and windows in an attempt to storm the house. The family confronted the attackers, resulting in injuries to Safiya Idris, 80, and her sons Noor and Azmi.

The three sustained bruises, suffocation and burns after being assaulted and sprayed with pepper spray, and were later transferred to hospital for treatment.

Burkan added that the attackers stole around 30 sheep belonging to the family during the assault on the home.
