BEIRUT, March 27, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon escalated early Friday, targeting towns in the Bint Jbeil District, Marjeyoun District, and Tyre District, resulting in civilian injuries and property damage.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on several towns, including Ainata, and the towns of Zebqin and Al-Tiri, as well as the area between Ramadiya and Sediqin. These strikes coincided with heavy Israeli artillery shelling of towns in Bint Jbeil, Marjeyoun, and the Bayada area.

The agency added that Israeli aircraft directly hit a vehicle on the road near the town of Qulaylah.

Over the past 24, the Lebanese Civil Defense carried out 169 rescue and medical missions amid ongoing attacks, while a humanitarian convoy reached villages in the Marjeyoun District to support residents.
