RAMALLAH, March 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa on Thursday stressed the urgent need for international intervention to halt Israeli colonist attacks.
Speaking in a phone call with his Irish counterpart, Micheál Martin, Prime Minister Mustafa touched upon the upsurge in the attacks by colonists against defenseless civilians and their properties, among other measures taken by Israel, the occupying power, emphasizing the need for urgent concerted international intervention to halt such attacks and oblige Israel to release the Palestinian tax revenues.
He also stressed the need of moving ahead with the implementation of US President Donald Trump’s plan for Gaza, including the reconstruction of the Strip, Israeli forces’ withdrawal, and the unification of the Strip with the West Bank within the framework of institutions of the State of Palestine.
He commended Ireland for the political, economic, and humanitarian support provided to the State of Palestine and the UNRWA.
