BETHLEHEM, March 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists erected a tent Thursday on Palestinian-owned land belonging to the Khala’il al-Luz area, southeast of Bethlehem.
Hassan Breijieh, a researcher specializing in the wall and settlement affairs, told WAFA correspondent that colonists set up the tent on land belonging to the Salahat and Mawaleh families, adjacent to the military hospital.
Breijieh affirmed that such move confirms the Israeli military decision to construct a colonial bypass road linking the settlements of Tekoa and Efrat, effectively isolating Bethlehem from its southern countryside.
