RAMALLAH, March 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities handed on Wednesday a Palestinian woman a travel ban order.
The Jerusalem Governorate stated that the occupation authorities delivered a travel ban order to Khadija Khweis, a prominent activist, prohibiting her from traveling until August 23.
Khuweis is a former prisoner who has been detained multiple times and banned from entering the West Bank, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Old City of Jerusalem. She has also been subjected to numerous travel bans.
Occupation forces have detained her more than 30 times, banned her from traveling for over four years, and denied her health insurance for more than three years on flimsy pretexts.
Israeli authorities have increasingly targeted dozens of activists, worshippers, and prominent Jerusalemite figures through arrests and bans from entering the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
