Two Palestinians injured in colonists' attack, seven others detained near Hebron

HEBRON, March 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were injured and seven others were detained on Wednesday in an attack by colonists in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhameh told WAFA that Ahmad Ali al-Adra and Habib Ismail al-Adra sustained bruises and contusions after being severely beaten by armed colonists under the protection of Israeli soldiers in the villages of Rujoum Ali and Khallat Amira in Masafer Yatta. The attack followed the colonists' release of their livestock onto Palestinian-owned land in the two villages.

The injured were taken to Yatta Governmental Hospital for treatment.

The occupation forces also fired sound bombs and toxic gas at citizens in Khirbet Khalla Amira, and detained a number of citizens for two hours, while arresting Salah Muhammad Al-Adra, Sami Muhammad Al-Adra, Jaafar Ali Al-Adra, Mahmoud Ibrahim Al-Adra, and the brothers Youssef, Muhammad and Saber Ismail Al-Adra.
