GAZA, March 24, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian child was killed and several others were injured on Tuesday by Israeli gunfire in the Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent reported that 13-year-old Khaled Saif al-Din Arada was shot and killed by Israeli forces while he was inside his tent in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the territory.
Three Palestinians were also injured by Israeli gunfire from military vehicles in the al-Mawasi area of Rafah, including a 17-year-old girl. In addition, three others were wounded by Israeli fire in the al-Faluja area of Jabalia in northern Gaza. Another Palestinian was injured near the Abu Asi station in Bureij Refugee Camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Earlier, medical sources announced that the cumulative death toll from the Israeli offensive on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,263, with 171,948 people injured.
The same sources added that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11 last year, 687 people have been killed and 1,849 others injured, in addition to 756 bodies recovered from under the rubble.
