SALFIT, March 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces uprooted dozens of olive trees today at the main entrance to the town of Kafr Haris, north of Salfit.
Local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces began extensive bulldozing operations in the lands south of the town, near the main entrance, uprooting dozens of olive trees. There are fears that hundreds more will be uprooted as the bulldozing continues.
The same sources added that the bulldozing operations are part of an effort to alter the landscape of the town's entrance and widen roads for the benefit of colonists.
Colonists' attacks, aided by the Israeli army, have resulted in the uprooting, destruction, and poisoning of 1,314 trees, including 1,054 olive trees, in the West Bank governorates, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission's latest monthly report.
