QALQILYA, March 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces began bulldozing land in the village of Kafr Laqif, east of Qalqilya, on Tuesday.
The head of the village council, Yasser Mara’ba, told WAFA that Israeli bulldozers stormed the main entrance to the village and began bulldozing an area of land 60 meters wide north of the Qalqilya-Nablus road, also known as Route 55.
He added that this action followed a decision made about two weeks ago to seize 106 dunams of land belonging to Kafr Laqif and the town of Azzun, under the pretext of using it for military purposes. Landowners were given a week to object, but the occupation forces began bulldozing immediately after the deadline expired.
