Five Palestinians injured after being run over by Israeli colonists near Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, March 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Five Palestinian workers from Nahalin, west of Bethlehem, were injured on Tuesday in two separate hit-and-run incidents perpetrated by Israeli colonists.

Israeli forces also detained five other Palestinian workers from the village of Husan.

Security sources told WAFA that a colonist ran over four Palestinian workers with his vehicle near the village of Wadi Fukin, west of Bethlehem, as they were trying to reach their workplaces in Jerusalem.

The injured workers, identified as Abdullah Abu Diya, Majdi al-Najjar, Muhammad Fanoun, and Mohammad Shakarna, sustained bruises and cuts.

The sources added that in a separate incident, a settler ran over Ali Rizq Ali Yassin after Israeli police shot and wounded him in the leg.

He was transferred to a hospital in Jerusalem for treatment.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces detained Laith Shousha, Alaa Shousha, Yassin Hamamra, Muhammad Hamamra, and Mansour Zaoul as they were trying to reach their workplaces in occupied Jerusalem.
