JORDAN VALLEY, March 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists attacked Al-Maleh School in the northern Jordan Valley last night.

The Director of Education in Tubas, Azmi Balawneh, reported that colonists stormed the school grounds, vandalized its contents, including the water and electricity networks and other facilities, and stole some of its belongings in what is considered one of the most significant acts of vandalism against the school.

Balawneh stated, “We have a plan to operate the school using students from the Al-Maleh area and the northern Jordan Valley.”

The school has witnessed repeated acts of vandalism and destruction of its contents and facilities in recent months.

The school serves students from Bedouin communities in the northern Jordan Valley, from grades one through three, and classes are currently being held remotely.
