BEIRUT, March 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli warplanes carried out several airstrikes on Monday evening targeting the Dahiyeh district of Beirut, Lebanon, according to local sources.

Earlier in the day, the Israeli occupation army issued a threat to residents of the district to leave their homes immediately.

Israeli warplanes also carried out an airstrike on the town of Srifa in southern Lebanon, killing three people, according to Lebanese media reports. Another strike targeting an ambulance reportedly killed one person.

In addition, Israeli fighter jets and artillery targeted several towns in southern Lebanon, including Yater, Al-Qouzah, Hanin, Beit Lif, Khiam, Tayr Debba, Haris, Al-Sawana, Kafra, Al-Haniyeh, and Al-Mansouri.
