NABLUS, March 23, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian minor on Monday evening sustained injuries due to a colonist attack in Deit al-Hatab village, east of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to Ameed Ahmad, director of the Ambulance and Emergency Center at the Nablus Red Crescent.
Ahmad reported that the Rec Crescent crews provided first aid treatment to a 16-year-old minor who was severely beaten up by Israeli colonists in the village.
Earlier this evening, colonists stormed the village and attacked civilians, resulting in a casualty.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
