RAMALLAH, March 22, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday evening carried out military raids into several villages east of Ramallah, firing live rounds, targeting Palestinian residents’ homes, and converting them into military posts, causing tension and fear among local communities.
In Kafr Malik, the occupation forces fired live rounds while moving through the village streets, creating panic among residents amid heavy troop presence.
In Deir Jarir, Israeli forces positioned themselves in the Wadi al-Jami area and moved through village streets, firing sound grenades and conducting heightened alert measures, with no home invasions reported as of this report.
In Al-Mughayyir, the occupation forces raided the homes of Hamza As’ad Abu Aliya and Naseem Abu Aliya, expelled the families, and turned the houses into military barracks.
They also set up a checkpoint at the village’s western entrance, disrupting residents’ movement and daily life.
These raids are part of ongoing operations by the occupation forces in eastern Ramallah, aimed at controlling streets and targeting residents and their property.
