BETHLEHEM, March 22, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday evening set up a military checkpoint at the western entrance of the rural area of Bethlehem governorate.
A local source told a WAFA correspondent that a checkpoint was established under the Aqabat Hasna bridge, the main and only entrance to the towns of Battir and Nahalin and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fukin, where occupation forces stopped vehicles, conducted inspections, and checked residents’ IDs, causing severe traffic congestion in the area.
