NABLUS, March 22, 2026 (WAFA) - The toll of injuries from the colonists’ attack on the town of Deir al-Hatab, east of Nablus, on Sunday evening has risen to nine, including one caused by live fire.
Ahmad Ameed, director of the Ambulance and Emergency Center at the Nablus Red Crescent, reported that paramedics treated a 45-year-old man who was shot in the foot during the attack, along with eight others injured by colonist assaults, including a woman who suffered bruises and suffocation due to tear gas inahaltion.
The paramedic teams confirmed that the injuries include: one gunshot wound to the foot, six injuries from beatings, one injury from smoke and tear gas inhalation, and one fall resulting in a fractured thigh.
WAFA correspondent added that colonists attacked residents’ homes, setting several houses and vehicles on fire, while fire crews continue working to control the blaze.
