NABLUS, March 22, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists on Sunday evening attacked Palestinian homes in the town of Qaryut, south of Nablus, in a new assault targeting the eastern part of the town, according to local sources.
Sources told WAFA that a group of colonists stormed the outskirts of the town and attacked Palestinian residents’ homes, before locals confronted them and forced them to leave the area.
The town witnessed a violent attack last night carried out by more than 100 colonists, marking a notable escalation in repeated assaults on the area.
These attacks come amid rising colonists’ assaults on Palestinian villages and towns south of Nablus, amid heightened tension and fears of further attacks.
