Three injured, vehicles and village council office set ablaze in settler attack near Nablus

NABLUS, March 22, 2026 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were injured in an attack carried out by Israeli settler militias last night on the village of Jaloud, southeast of Nablus, during which several vehicles and the village council headquarters were set on fire.

Sources from the Palestine Red Crescent Society said its crews treated three people who sustained injuries after being assaulted by settlers. One of the injured, a young man, suffered a deep head wound after being beaten.

Palestinian security and local sources said a group of settlers stormed the village, assaulted residents, set fire to the village council office, and burned four vehicles belonging to local residents. Three of the vehicles were completely destroyed.

In a related incident, the sources noted that a group of settlers also attacked civilians in the nearby village of Qaryut, south of Nablus. Residents confronted the attackers and forced them to leave the area.
