HEBRON, March 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian citizens were injured, and three others were detained on Saturday during an attack by colonists, carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, according to a local activist.

Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamreh told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces detained three Palestinians, including a minor, from Khirbet Huwara in Masafer Yatta after colonists attacked residents, assaulting them and spraying them with pepper spray. A resident was injured in the assault, sustaining bruises and suffocation.

The occupation forces, while protecting the colonists, assaulted the hamlet and attacked residents and foreign activists, fired stun grenades at them, and raided a home, vandalizing its contents and assaulting the family, injuring a woman who sustained bruises.

In the meantime, colonists stormed the village of Burin, south of Nablus, on Saturday evening.

Local sources reported that a group of colonists raided the outskirts of the village and carried out a provocative tour among citizens’ homes.
