HEBRON, March 21, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was injured by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire at dawn on Saturday during a raid into the town of Beit Awwa, southwest of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces stormed the town and opened live fire at Ali Salama Al-Masalmeh, wounding him in his lower limbs.
The forces left him bleeding on the ground and prevented ambulance crews of the Palestine Red Crescent Society from reaching him for more than half an hour until they withdrew from the town. His injury was later described as moderate.
Israeli forces also detained at least one Palestinian from the town during the raid.
