ARRABAT AL-BATTUF, March 20, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian citizen of Israel was on Friday shot dead in the city of Arrabat al-Battuf of the Lower Galilee in Israel, according to local sources.
They said that Majdi Atef Shala‘ta, in his 40s, was killed in a shooting in the city.
With this crime, the death toll from crime and violence among the Palestinian citizens of Israel has risen to 13 since the beginning of March, and to 64 since the start of the year.
Among the victims are 66 victims from 33 different cities and villages in addition to another identified as a West Bank resident who had been killed in Nazareth.
The victims also include four women, three people killed by Israeli police fire, and 3 minors under the age of 18.
