RAMALLAH, March 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces razed Palestinian-owned land in the village of Ein Yabrud, east of Ramallah, on Thursday, uprooting multiple olive trees.
Activist Jihad al-Qaqsaid that Israeli forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the eastern part of the village near Route 60 and carried out extensive land leveling operations affecting 20 dunams, in addition to uprooting several olive trees.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, occupation forces and colonists carried out a total of 1,965 attacks during February, as part of their ongoing assaults on Palestinians, their land, and their property.
These violations included physical assaults, uprooting trees, burning fields, confiscating property, and demolishing homes and agricultural structures.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops reportedly sealed off vast areas of land, citing security pretexts, while allowing colonists to expand their settlements.
The Commission affirmed that colonists carried out 355 acts of sabotage and theft of citizens’ property, which resulted in the uprooting, destruction and poisoning of 1,314 trees, including 1,054 olive trees.
They were distributed as follows, 731 trees in Ramallah governorate, 200 in Bethlehem, 183 in Hebron, 180 in Nablus, and 20 in Tulkarm.
