QALQILYA, March 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces turned a house into a military post in the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, after forcing the Ahmad Barham family to leave.

Local sources said that the occupation forces raided and searched several homes, damaging their contents. Among the homeowners identified were Zafer Barham, Rami Obeid, and Hikmat Shteiwi. The forces also detained nine young men, interrogated them, and then released them during a raid that lasted approximately four hours.

In a related context, the occupation forces have continued to close the entrance to the village of Funduq-Hajja with an iron gate for the past six months, forcing residents to take alternative routes to reach their homes and destinations. This entrance is a main road connecting the villages of Hajja, Baqa al-Hatab, Sir, and Funduq, and is used by thousands of residents daily.
