Death toll from missile strike on Hebron town rises to four

HEBRON, March 19, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that the death toll from the missile strike on a beauty salon in the town of Beit Awa on Wednesday evening has risen to four, after a pregnant woman was succumbed to her injuries.

The ministry added that the fourth victim was Asil Samir Masalmeh, 32, who was six months pregnant.

It indicated that Dura Governmental Hospital received three bodies and four injured people on Wednesday evening.

Among the injured was a pregnant woman who was critically wounded and transferred to Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

A child was also critically injured but her condition was stabilized. Two other injuries were minor.

The ministry added that blood banks were fully prepared and no shortages were reported.

It noted that medical teams at Dura Governmental Hospital, reinforced by staff from Hebron Governmental Hospital, treated and stabilized the injured, while some were transferred to other hospitals in the governorate.

The Ministry of Health praised the coordination that took place between its staff, the staff of the Red Crescent, and private and public hospitals, which contributed to saving the lives of the injured.
