RAMALLAH, March 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces erected a military checkpoint today in the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces set up the checkpoint at the western entrance to the village, stopping and searching several vehicles, causing a traffic jam.
According to a report issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the number of military checkpoints and gates in the Palestinian territories has reached more than 916, including 243 gates erected after October 7, 2023.
