RAMALLAH, March 18, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces closed the Atara military checkpoint north of Ramallah on Wednesday evening.
WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces blocked the checkpoint, preventing Palestinian residents’ vehicles from entering or exiting, causing a traffic jam and disrupting citizens’ movement.
According to a report issued by the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, the number of military checkpoints and gates in the Palestinian Territory has reached 916, including 243 gates installed since October 7, 2023.
